The lead SME for the team
To identify technical solutions for business requirements and able to optimally design the solution considering the client’s system architecture
To lead the development team and guide them while making the changes
To challenge the solution/code developed by the vendors in case the solution does not meet client’s internal guidelines
To help the developers identify propose workarounds and solutions for production issues.
To review the FSD and TSD, where applicable.
To walk through the solutions with users to confirm that they are as per the requirements.
To review the changes done by the developers.
To understand the various batch jobs, identify the bottlenecks in the batch execution and come up with performance tuning solutions.
To perform audit of codes delivered by the other team members or vendor resources.
